Well, its a new leaf for me. I'm slimming down on what I do/have online ever since my son William was born. It's not so much about the money - its more the time to be honest. I'll still post on my blog, but dealing with hosting my own WordPress blog became a hassle (upgrades, etc) and WordPress hosting costs seem fairly exorbitant.
So, I lose all the old posts. Never mind, they were crap anyway!

- My name is Daniel Deptford (in case you hadn’t realised already). I currently work as a Software Engineer at LucasArts in San Francisco, California, having moved here in October 2007 with my wife, Catherine. I previously worked as a Lead + Senior Software Engineer at Lionhead Studios. To date I’ve worked on some pretty cool games, namely: Black & White 1 and 2, Fable 2 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Work continues to be fun and interesting! I always have the intention of keeping my blog up to date but it never works out (as I'm sure is the case for 90% of blogs out there!).
